Bootsbauer. 1914.
Etching.
Ebner/Gabelmann 672 R. Dube R 128. Signed and dated. One of 17 known copies. 9.5 x 13.7 cm (3.7 x 5.3 in). Size of sheet: 18,1 x 22,5 cm (7,1 x 8,9 in).
The work presumbaly shows the boat builder Peter Hansen, whom Heckel stayed with in Osterholz in the summers of 1913 and 1914. [EH].
PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).
